I started the Art A level before my O level, so used to go along to draw on Wednesday nights, and carried on when I was in the sixth form.
As I was already doing three academic A levels at school, I used to just go along to the Art block when I was there and had free periods between lessons, and was allowed to paint as one of the gang.
Some of these paintings were done at school but after I’d done my O-level.
