Grindelwald

Big walk downhill to Grindelwald on Felix Weg.

We caught the gondola up to Mannlichen and nearly caught the gondola down the other side… Instead, after a hot chocolate, started walking down instead.

Several hours later, we made it to the half way down stop, and rode the gondola down the last leg.

J and M did really well with all the walking, over rocks through peat bogs and past all the dingling cows.

After the hot-chocolate, C bought the each a small cowbell which they both carried all the way.

We started walking into Grindelwald proper, looking for lunch, but everyone was tired and didn’t want another 30 minute walk… so we rode the gondola all the way back to Mannlichen and had lunch there instead, and the children played in the playground.

Back down in Wengen, Daddy went to get the swimming things and we went in the super-cold pool before dinner.
