Murren
James didn’t want to go on the train, so we played chess in the park first (Actually, the Hotel Victoria) before going one stop down to Lauterbrunnen.
We then caught the Murrenbahn luftseil to Grutschalp up the mountain opposite Wengen, transferred by tiny train to Murren itself and walked to the next up, a vertical train-thing to Allmendhubel (The Allmendhubel Bahn, in fact).
Frustratingly, our Jungfraubahn passes weren’t good for this, so we needed to buy another ticket!
We had lunch at the top whilst J and M played on the slide and toys next to the restaurant.
We also tried out the special foot-o-ice walk. I found it quite nice, but Catherine thought it was too cold to walk , never mind linger in (Meant to be 30s per leg).
Back down in Murren, we played crazy golf (J and G both got a couple of hole in one), and played in yet another adventure park, with a cargo net or rope ladder up to the slide.
And back in Wengen, James played on his ‘mound’ whilst M slept and Mummy shopped.
