Sketchbook Stuff from North America
Quick sketches in Vancouver and Sonora Island.
These were done with Winsor and Newton watercolour pens, and mostly on very smooth (and thin) paper. They work so much better on watercolour paper, and easier to apply washes… but, just by being a sketch there was almost no pressure to ‘get it right’ or for the outcome to be good, which was incredibly liberating.
